Natasha Richardson, British actress and scion of the noted Redgrave acting family died March 18, 2009 at a hospital in New York., after falling on a ski slope in Quebec on March 16th.

Astrodienst has announced that it has taken over AstroDataBank’s unique collection of more than 35,000 chart records and put it online to be used for free. Their announcement says: “We are very happy to be able to present and to continue Lois Rodden’s work at Astrodienst. You are invited to browse through or research the Astro-Databank.”
In the form of a wiki, it contains birth data, mundane data, plus all the chart drawings and thousands of biographies. Find it at www.astro.com/astro-databank.

James Randi

Recently, I came across a YouTube video by James Randi, where he has some fun with a video reading of his chart by an Australian astrologer. This video (since removed by the author) was an analysis that not only left out the birth time, but was wrong by 20 days (the dating error, as far as I can discover, originated with an American astrologer). In his rebuttal, Randi points out that not only is his correct birthdate listed in many online sources, but that he is perfectly willing to confirm the date, time and place of his birth to any enquirer. So that’s what I did, simply explaining that I was an astrologer and was interested in the data. the following reply came back within the hour:
“August 7th, 1928, at 1:20 a.m., in Toronto, Canada. Available several places on the Internet…”

Aya Jayne Soliman was born in London two days after her mother was declared braindead by doctors. Jayne Soliman, a 41-year-old champion iceskater, collapsed on January 7th from a massive brain haemorrhage.
