Raphael’s 2010 Ephemeris has just popped through my door. Yes, I know you can get ephemerides for free online, and that every astrology program comes with an ephemeris generator. But looking at a screen or a printout doesn’t come anywhere near the satisfaction of holding a proper printed book in your hand.
Which is why I order my copy of the next year’s Raphael’s at this time every year – I like to spend time browsing through it, noting transits to my own chart and the charts of family and friends, plus all the mundane aspects – lunations, outer-planet conjunctions and the like. (If they would only include Chiron in their listings, it would be perfect – but you can’t have everything.)
So if you, like me, prefer books to printouts, get your copy now – preferably from a small independent bookseller, such as Midheaven Books.
